The Delegation for Rapid Entrepreneurship of Women and Youth, in collaboration with the African Development Bank, the French Development Agency, and the Government of Senegal, is organizing an event to launch PAVIE II. This initiative builds on the success of PAVIE I, which supported 24,000 entrepreneurial initiatives, created over 93,000 jobs, and mobilized 66 billion CFA francs in funding.

With a budget of 107.209 billion CFA francs, PAVIE II aims to strengthen agriculture, livestock, and fisheries, with 60 billion CFA francs allocated to job creation and agricultural production, and 30 billion CFA francs dedicated to supporting innovative small and medium-sized enterprises and digital solutions.

The event will bring together representatives from the Senegalese government, regional African institutions, international partners, entrepreneurs, and innovators. Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, African Development Bank president, will lead a delegation from the African Development Bank Group to the event.

The one-day program will include opening speeches, panel discussions on food sovereignty and digital innovation, testimonials from PAVIE I beneficiaries, and an exhibition of agricultural and technological solutions. It will be held in the conference rooms and exhibition spaces of the Grand Théâtre National, Dakar.

Within the framework of the "Sénégal 2050" strategy, PAVIE II benefits from strategic investments by the African Development Bank, the French Development Agency, and the Government of Senegal through a multi-phase financing program. The event will highlight Senegal's leadership in promoting the economic empowerment of women and youth, as well as advancing food sovereignty within the framework of the national development strategy "Sénégal 2050."
